A journey into the past through images that show the human industry in the Ballestas Islands. Islands known for their marine fauna but little known for their material history, which is the history of guano exploitation on many of the islands of the Peruvian coast dating back to colonial times.

This collection depicts in its images some works made by man that contain within themselves part of this history. Colonial, republican and modern constructions are superimposed on one another, giving continuity to their trajectory.

The temporal dimensions are superimposed and allow us to feel in a spectral way all the characters who worked on them as if they were images already seen, already lived or even about to be lived in what we could call a DÉJÀ VU.
